This website is primarily targeted at families, which is surprisingly a group that many content creators for the non-U.S. parks don't often serve. Content tends to be made by a couple of twenty- or thirty- somethings who focus a lot of time on food/drink considerations and aren't always concerned with seeing characters in the parks, nor necessarily consider that suggesting that guests simply "use the Single Rider Line to cut wait times" isn't such a great hack when your party consists of one or more little ones.

 

There's also - understandably - a selection bias in the kind of people from the US or UK who tend to visit parks the "international" parks: they are often Disney super fans! Our family falls into that category too but being from Canada we don't have a "local" park and so every Disney trip is precious to us. This differs somewhat to someone who lives in southern California or Orlando who might skip Soarin' or Toy Story Midway Mania in Tokyo because they can "do it at home". When we go to any Disney park we are trying to do everything while also balancing the needs of little kids and hopefully that perspective will prove useful to others.
